How does Facial Imaging Mobile work?

The Facial Imaging Mobile van will travel to your office, the patient's home, or the patient's workplace within New York metro area, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania (select locations), Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia by appointment to perform the CT scan.

How are the appointments scheduled?

Appointments can be scheduled by the dental office staff or directly by the patient. Appointments can be made by fax, phone and online.

How will I get training on the viewing software you provide?

One of our trained professionals will meet with you and your office staff to train, explain, and demonstrate all features of the software, including how to access your files from our website.

What are the additional benefits of Facial Imaging Mobile?

We provide same-day CT scanning for your patients, along with an immediate delivery of your patient's scan via CD/DVD and glossy printed images.  In utilizing Facial Imaging Mobile for your scanning needs, you open your practice up to greater patient management and retention, increased office efficiency, a higher level of customer service, the most accurate diagnosis and treatment planning, improved treatment outcome and patient satisfaction, improved risk management, and higher case acceptance.

How soon will I get the images?

Images can be generated immediately at the doctor's location, downloaded within 24hr through our secured site, and via UPS within 48hr.

Do I get a certified Oral Maxillo-Facial Radiologist’s report with the scan?

Yes, we provide a radiologist report for every scan.

Do you provide measurements?

Yes, we provide you with a CD of the scan, and three dimensional prints, with measurements of the region of interest.

Can I place virtual implants with the viewer software?

Unfortunately, no.  To make the viewer software free, the software companies only allow you to manipulate the study and place your own measurements.

Who pays for the CT scan?

The CT scan is paid by the patient at time of service, or we can bill the referring dental practitioner.

Can you convert the images to the planning software I own?

Yes, we convert to all 3rd party software's at no additional charge. Please indicate on the referral form your preferred software.

Do you charge extra for a scan with a template?

No, as long as the template is present at time of service.

Who should provide the template?

The template needs to be provided by the dental practitioner to the patient prior to the scan.
